Event Planning and help at a number of CW fundraising and workshops events

Donation collector - shaking our fundraising buckets or selling raffle tickets, helping with the tombola at events/workshops where appropriate.

Helping to set up events and workshops - eventually running stalls or events without CW Staff present (Set up teas and coffees and being a welcoming Collaborative Women face to members or new people of the HUB)

Hard Copy Poster Promotion - meaning putting up physical posters for events or workshops (Lists of places to put hard copy posters will be given) this will also include taking them down after the event

Community Engagement - being able to connect with members of the public. Speak publicly and to talk about what Collaborative Women is all about, our values and ethos and how people can join us.

Become a Campaigner for Collaborative Women - we are looking at campaigning for better housing for women, better provisions for homelessness and better education for women who have gone through Domestic Abuse.

Helping Collaborative Women Staff deliver Healthy Relationship Workshops in High Schools

1:1 Support for service users in the community - potentially leading to working over with residents on the Housing side. (Extra comprehensive training will be given if interested in this)

Collating data and fun stories to write into the quarterly newsletter!

Writing Blog Posts

Befriending Service within the HUB WhatsApp groups

Help with the promotion of events/workshops through social media, word of mouth

Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults

Please be aware that some of our volunteering roles require a Disclosure and Barring Service check (this replaces CRB checks). Some criminal offences will not bar you from volunteering with us and we will make a decision on an individual basis. However, offences including any form of violence, theft or blackmail will automatically disqualify you from volunteering to support vulnerable adults or children.

Other roles, such as administration volunteer or promotions volunteer do not require a DBS check, if you are considering a role supporting vulnerable people then please tell us about any criminal offences:
